June 22, 2006 – Quantum3D purchased licenses to additional FLAMES runtime and development products to support their development of a FLAMES-based DIS-CIGI (Common Image Generator Interface) gateway for U.S. Air Force visual simulations.
May 1, 2006 – The Air Force Air Armament Center (AAC/XR) Capabilities Integration Directorate purchased additional FLAMES options to support air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions simulations and interaction with other simulations using DIS and HLA.
April 26, 2006 – The Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate (AFRL/MN) purchased the FLAMES Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) option to expand the capability of its FLAMES-based simulations. FLAMES is the framework for simulations used by AFRL/MN to design and analyze next-generation weapon systems.
Quantum3D®, a high-end Image Generator (IG) company, has put together a solution for integrating a Semi-Automated Forces (SAF)-based simulation with a 60hz IG. To accomplish this, the following issues had to be resolved:
