Huntsville, AL – August 25, 2011 – FLAMES®, version 9.1.1 has been released. This version is an incremental release that corrects a few small problems discovered in the Windows version of FLAMES 9.1. The following is a summary of the problems that were corrected. If you are using version 9.1 and have experienced any of the problems described below, you should upgrade to version 9.1.1. Otherwise, there is no need to upgrade.
- In version 9.1, the Digital Terrain Importer is included in the Enterprise Edition Runtime Suite (EERS), the license to which is available for free. However, in some initial shipments of the 9.1 EERS CD, the Digital Terrain Importer was inadvertently omitted. Later shipments of the 9.1 EERS CD include the Digital Terrain Importer, as do the 9.1.1 EERS CDs.
- In some initial shipments of the 9.1 Enterprise Edition Development Suite (EEDS) CD, the FACT Importer, E3D Importer, and 3D Icon Editor made unnecessary licenses checks that prevented them from executing. This was corrected in later shipments of the 9.1 EEDS CD and in version 9.1.1.
- When executing a scenario in ABSOLUTE time synchronization mode, there could be as much as a 50 msec difference between scenario time and your computer system time.
- In 64-bit FLAMES, using an ALTER script statement that refers to an invalid model can result in a hard crash.
FLAMES Development Suite customers with active software maintenance will receive version 9.1.1 upon request at no additional cost. Please contact customer support to make your request.
