FLAMES® is loaded with advanced features that will help make you extremely productive in your modeling and simulation activities. The following is a list of some of the most useful built-in features. Select the name of a given feature below or from the sidebar on the left for more information.
FLAMES also supports many optional features.
Framework Architecture – The framework architecture of FLAMES easily supports almost any modeling and simulation requirement imaginable
Components – FLAMES supports components (models) of any type of system in any physical domain (land, sea, air, and space) at nearly any level of fidelity and resolution. FLAMES also supports human behavior modeling
Component Plug-ins – Place your custom components in component plug-ins. FLAMES applications automatically load and integrate the designated component plug-ins each time they start
Bundled Components – The Runtime Suite is bundled with a wide variety of ready-to-use components (models) of many different types of systems can often satisfy some or all of your modeling requirements – right off the shelf
Scenario Visualization – Visualize scenario activity with animated, 2D graphical displays and optional high-resolution 3D displays
Terrain Modeling – Scenarios can include terrain databases constructed from digital terrain elevation data. Optional support is also provided for very high-fidelity terrain databases
Scenario Database – The scenario database stores and manages FLAMES scenario data and allows scenario data to be shared among multiple users and multiple scenarios
Teams – The relationships between players in a scenario is specified using teams
