The 2007 FLAMES User Group Conference was held on June 26-27, at the Holiday Inn Huntsville - Research Park, on University Drive in Huntsville, AL. A technical interchange/training day was also held on June 28, at Ternion Corporation's headquarters.

On the first two days of the event, users presented on their organizations' specific applications of FLAMES. In addition, Ternion gave a sneak preview of the product features that will be included in the next version of FLAMES and gave attendees an exclusive pre-release evaluation of its FORGE scenario definition software.

Throughout the conference, attendees had the opportunity to shape the future of FLAMES by providing feedback and suggestions on the functionality they would like included in upcoming product releases. This input is very influential as Ternion makes plans for future versions of FLAMES.

During day two, FLAMES users enjoyed a fun afternoon of water skiing and wake boarding on beautiful Lake Guntersville, nestled in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. At the day's end, attendees were treated to an authentic Southern Bar-b-que dinner overlooking the lake.

On the final day of the conference, Ternion hosted four training presentations at its corporate headquarters. The training topics, chosen by the conference attendees, included using new features in the upcoming version of FLAMES, customizing displays in FORGE, creating large terrain databases, and post-processing with Ternion's scenario analysis software, FLARE.
