Conference Location

The User Group Conference was held at the Huntsville Marriott Hotel located adjacent to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center at 5 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL. The hotel is approximately 7 miles from the Huntsville International Airport and offered a free shuttle service to and from the airport.

Lodging

A limited number of rooms were reserved at the Marriott Hotel in Huntsville, AL, at a special FLAMES User Group Conference rate of $99, or Government Rate of $70.

Transportation

Transportation to and from the airport was provided by the Marriott Hotel. Transportation to and from the Marriott for off-site conference events was provided by Ternion.  Rental cars were available at the Huntsville International Airport. Huntsville does not have a good public transportation system, so renting a car was recommended.
