Raytheon Conducts USMC Training Event with FLAMES-based Simulation

September 11, 2006 – Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) San Diego leased FLAMES licenses to support an instructor and as many as eighteen students as part of a one-week training event for the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). The focus of the training event was to provide students with user instruction for the FLAMES-based Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) Simulation and Training capability, or SimTrainer. Ternion developed the SimTrainer under contract to Raytheon IDS as part of the CAC2S program.
