FLAMES® 4.2 Released

Version 4.2 Supports High Level Architecture (HLA)

Huntsville, AL -  April 12, 2001 - Ternion is pleased to announce the release version 4.2 of FLAMES™. 

By far the most important enhancement in version 4.2 is the addition of a new option, the FLAMES High Level Architecture (HLA) Option. With the HLA Option, you can: 

• add HLA-compatibility to any FLAMES-based simulation
• build scenarios and execute them as a part of an HLA federation
• Use the example software bundled with the HLA Option that supports a subset of the popular Real-time Platform Reference (RPR) Federation Object Model (FOM)
• Add support for any other FOM to your simulations 

Customers with active software maintenance will receive version 4.2 automatically.
